Mel grew up in a small college town in Mississippi, where football plays an integral role in everyday life. Her upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for Cajun cuisine, festivals, live music, animals, and pop culture. Her love for tradition is as profound as her Southern roots. You can often find her dancing along a parade route, front and center at a live concert, or cheering "WHODAT!" from the sidelines of the Superdome on Sundays.

When it was time to choose a career, Mel’s deep passion for the New Orleans Saints and her dedicated membership in the Who Dat Nation inspired her to become a professional ticket broker. She founded NOLA Nites Tickets & Concierge Services, located in New Orleans. This venture led her to a successful career spanning decades within the National Football League as a league contract analyst. Currently, Mel serves as an NFLPA contract agent advisor.
